Beykent University hosted a Cyber Day in Istanbul
A second Cyber Day was held in Istanbul, Turkey, on February 28.
This time, Beykent University took the initiative and hosted a full-day event for more than 100 students, where educational lessons, interactive sessions, discussions, and networking opportunities were offered together.
The event was opened by Dmitry Galov, Global Research & Analysis Team (GReAT) Researcher, who presented a detailed review of current trends in the modern cybersecurity world. In particular, the speaker described Kaspersky’s latest research results in mobile and IoT security and shared the latest numbers in a current threat landscape.
At the end of the event, students also participated in the Kaspersky Interactive Protection Simulation (KIPS) session, where they managed to become a team of cybersecurity experts, put their knowledge into practice and experience what it is like — to meet cyber threats face-to-face.
Overall, more than 100 students from different universities attended the event.
