Bitup 2019 Alicante
On October 26, the third Bitup Conference 2019 Alicante began at University of Alicante in Spain. Bitup 2019 is both a CTF competition and a cybersecurity conference, which is sponsored by Kaspersky.Academy.
The goal of this event is to attract students to the world of information security and to enhance their skills in cybersecurity. The first part of Bitup was dedicated to challenging cybersecurity issues:
- Development of custom VPS (Free Private Virtual Server)
- Extracting information from the ToR network and the Darkweb, including the review of the main tools to discover hidden services on the network with osint tools
- IoT problems
- How to use an exploiting framework other than Metasploit
After that students participated in CTF Challenge. The objective of each test is to get the Flag, which is usually a phrase in the format: bitup19 {secret_word}. More than 200 people took part in the event.
We congratulate the winners:
- T3@M 4lk4×0f4
