Kaspersky.Academy supports Europe's biggest hackathon in SINGAPORE!
JunctionX Singapore is an event where developers, coders and designers compete in diverse teams to build and present their innovative and revolutionary ideas. Hackers from different backgrounds form teams to work on cutting-edge technologies and solve real business problems proposed by companies.
Together with other tech companies such as Rakuten and Shopee, Kaspersky.Academy contributed two cybersecurity tracks in financial and automotive cybersecurity where we encouraged the participants to either develop effective measures to improve the financial safety of both end-users and financial organizations, or to help car owners and users to keep it safe on the road.
After two intensive days of brainstorming and mentoring, multiple revisions and iterations, we are proud to announce the Kaspersky track winners:
- 1st — SiRTify
- 2nd — DZVision
- 3rd — UnoChrono
All three teams developed working prototypes to combat against various online scams and protect users from financial fraud.
What is JunctionX?
Junction started out in Finland as a hackathon organizer, but over the years, the community has spread worldwide. Since 2018, teams around the world have created their own hackathons through the JunctionX program: the same Junction mentality, but all events with the personal touch of the local teams.
