Kaspersky held a series of three open live broadcasts with cybersecurity experts.

Meetings were held for university students in English in order to closely consider the main areas of information security.

On the first broadcast, we managed to talk to an expert from the team that is engaged in research in the field of information security. Dmitry Galov, a virus analyst from the GReAT team, spoke about how he chose his area of ​​work, shared his experience of building a career in cybersecurity, described a typical working day for a cybersecurity specialist, and expressed his opinion on the importance of higher education for a career in this area.

The second meeting was devoted to a conversation with Elena Krupenina, a representative of the development team and data scientists who provide the company with real solutions in the field of cybersecurity. We were able to talk about the application of machine learning in solving information security problems, about the technologies that are currently popular and the requirements for candidates in this area.

The final, third broadcast included interviews with two guests at once: Dan Demeter (Senior Security Researcher at GReAT, Kaspersky) and Adrian Ifrim (Senior Manager for Romania Cyber ​​Risk Services, Deloitte). The speakers spent time discussing the specifics of working in penetration testing, as well as auxiliary factors in building a career, such as participation in conferences or specialized communities.

Each meeting included an interactive session with listeners and a Q&A session. In total, more than 300 students from different countries, from India to Singapore, took part in the three broadcasts.
