Kaspersky partners with Temasek Polytechnic to offer technical cybersecurity courses to more Singaporeans

Kaspersky recently signed a three-year agreement with Temasek Polytechnic (TP), an institute of higher learning in Singapore, to provide cybersecurity courses for corporate practitioners and members of the public in Singapore. This partnership reinforces the global cybersecurity company’s commitment to support the upskilling of the country’s cyber defence talent pool.

Under this partnership, Kaspersky has committed to provide training and accreditation as an “Authorised Trainer for Kaspersky” to TP. This aims to strengthen the institution’s reputation as a training provider for the professional development of adult learners. The collaboration will further develop a robust and meaningful relationship between the two organizations and facilitate knowledge transfer from Kaspersky to TP staff under a “train-the- trainer” programme, ensuring that the institution’s trainers are always at the forefront of the latest cybersecurity technologies and trends.

Within the new agreement, TP will manage and deliver Kaspersky-developed courses in malware reverse engineering; incident response and digital forensic, as well as security monitoring and cyber threat hunting under the SkillsFuture Series, culminating in the award of joint certificates by TP and Kaspersky. Kaspersky recognizes the important role cybersecurity education has to play for enterprises and public in managing an increasing volume of constantly evolving threats, and has since launched projects around the world to address the global talent shortage.
