Kaspersky supports Standcon in Singapore
STANDCON is an annual nation-wide cybersecurity event for tertiary students in Singapore that aims to equip participants with knowledge and exposure to the cyber security world using current trending topics and opportunities. It also aims to allow participants to learn and demonstrate practical IT security skills through a Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competition.
Kaspersky Academy sponsored STANDCON 2021, which took place virtually over Zoom and Discord on the 24th and 25th July 2021, with a total of 312 participants. The event kicked off with an exciting 24-hour CTF competition, where student teams competed for the top spot! The second half of the event commenced on 25th July, with industry professionals from Kaspersky and CSA shared their experience and expertise with STANDCON participants through interactive webinars.
