The online part of the event was held in April and brought together students from more than 25 countries, including the USA, China, Japan, India, France, Poland, Egypt, etc.

The offline activities included lectures from leading industry speakers, Attack/Defence finals, IoT tasks, and a forensic game. Vyacheslav Zakorzhevsky, Head of Anti-Malware Research in Kaspersky presented a report called «Three Windows zero-days in three months: how we found them in the wild» and awarded Kaspersky Academy’s special prize of $1000 to the winners of the online part (SUSlo.PAS from NSU).
