Secur’IT cup 2019 started at Singapore

On 11 July, We held the Secur’IT Cup local conference in Singapore. This is our student competition dedicated to tackling security issues posed by new technologies in a rapidly changing world. This year, the focus is on cybersecurity issues in machine learning, finance and automotive.

11 teams from both universities and polytechnics competed for the top prize of US$1,500 that will go towards developing their proof-of-concept for the grand finals in Europe later this year! Students from Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore Management University, Temasek Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic pitched their projects to our esteemed panel of judges made up of Kaspersky experts, industry professionals and academia.

We congratulate the winning team from Singapore Institute of Technology (Lim Hong Xuan, Yu Peng Fei and Muhammad Aizuddin Akmal Bin Kamin) who blew the judges away with their project. The first and second runners-up were from Singapore Management University and Singapore Institute of Technology respectively.
