ShadowCTF at Phystechpark

On May 4, the task-based CTF for 7-11 grade schoolchildren from Moscow and Moscow oblast began in Moscow. More than 40 teams tried to solve difficult tasks and become the winners of ShadowCTF. The event was sponsored by kaspersky.academy and was held in Phystechpark.

ShadowCTF tasks included different cybersecurity topics, for example, cryptography, stenography, OSINT, and others. The organizers prepared online broadcast for schoolchildren, who were not able to participate in the offline part. In addition, the participants could try their hand in solving the tasks out of the competition.

• First place — Your Mom, 10603 points
• Second place — Cygnus, 9203 points
• Third place — Copperhead riot crew, 8741 points

ShadowCTF 2019 was organized by Shadow Servants, experienced CTF-team, who prepared a lot of cybersecurity competitions in Russia: RuCTF, M*CTF, CTF Russian Cup.
